Let's learn Korean

'ㄹ' is '리을[ri-eul]'. It is 4th Korean consonant. 'ㄹ' pronounces as similar as 'L'. It also pronounce as similar as 'R', but not same actually. Korean does not have 'r' sound, so many foreign words that has 'r' usually is pronounced 'ㄹ'. I changed monophthongs of 'ㅓ' and 'ㅕ' to [ʌ] and [jʌ]. Hope this helps.
